Back in like 05 the throttle on my blazer stuck WOT and I immediately put it in neutral and shut off the switch. I really don't see whats difficult about it.

 

yup ive had my throttle get stuck once, with about 10 people in the bed of my truck. popped in nuetral, mashed the gas, it unstuck, let it rev back down, then into drive and kept going.

 

I think yall are missing the point of that new law. It has nothing to do about preventing deaths, people caring guns or anything like that... It is free advertising for the official who proposed the law... It has nothing to do about creating a new law, all it is about is that douche bag taking advantage of a horrible situation to get his name out there and re-elected... So basically it is Politics 101...

I don't think it matters who casts the vote, as long as they get the election... Why do you think democrats in California have been so pro-immigration? They know supporting illegal immigrants and getting them to become citizens will get them more votes. Sad but true...

You need to remember, these are normal people... Your average driver, if the vehicle goes WOT, is going to mash on the brakes until they catch fire or crash into something. I agree, it seems simple to me too, but not everyone's thought process works the way everyone on here's does.

 

This "Average" driver that you speak of? That person should not be allowed to "Drive" a vehicle until they understand/learn how to operate one. I for one do not believe the DMV of any state scrutinizes applicants for drivers licenses 1/10th as thoroughly as they should. Nor do states have comprehensive enough training programs that applicants are required to pass (through private or public facility, though BOTH funded on your own dime, remember, this is a PRIVILEGE!)

Lets bring back common sense, which should lower all of our insurance rates.
