4.8 psi launch. 11* timing due to skyrocketing IATs, ending at 219*.

I've got a hotter tune with no IAT pull (running full E85) and locking converter at 100 mph to make up for the sloppy D.






I waited 1.5 hrs and did another run but I think the track was gone by then. Spun to a 11.3@125.7 but almost ran down a cts-V on the big end of the track. The guy running the tree had me furious. After both cars are fully staged he waits like 20-25 seconds before dropping the tree WTF. I'm sitting there burning up my transmission on the footbrake. Then when I stop boosting he drops it. Furious.

This baby turbo is giving everything it has. Before swapping it out, I'm going to try and optimize the setup and see if I can get a 10.5 out of it with the cool weather (RPR can see -1500 to -2000 DA). Garrett intercooler, front Bogarts, etc.

Thanks guys, means a lot. Wanna give it up to all you guys who went 10s eons ago and made it look so easy...foose, blown06, Tyler. I've got so much sweat and bloody hands into this piece of junk it's ridiculous. Was about to sell it a couple months ago and then decided to go for my goal of 10s.

Awsome run! Must feel good to have finally gotten that 11 second monkey off your back. I hope to follow suite, but I have a loooong way to go.

 

I count my graces everytime I make the 40 mile trip home from the track without a breakdown.

I know what it's going to take to put thing at the next level....big turbo, fab 9, relocated DA shocks. I can make it happen, I just don't know if I want to go that far.
