Here's the trans on the new floor jack. Casters are small, but they seem to work fine. Seems to be decently stable with this large load on it...likes to sway a little bit but it should be fine.

Those casters could most likely get swapped out for stronger ones though, it looks like they are all just bolted on.

If you set the arms in the corner of the pan and you use a tie down strap it will stay in place. I've used mine a lot know issue with it.

What is required to remove the trans and transfer-case together? Just remove the exhaust y-pipe, trans cross member? Procedure that works best for removal? Nice jack! I might have to pick one of those up.

Well since my engine is out I was able to do it by just removing the trans crossmember because I could slide everything forward enough to clear the torsion bar crossmember. With the engine in, you'd have to remove the torsion bar crossmember as well. I would not have attempted this with the engine in....it's easier to remove the t-case first, then the trans IMO. If you ask others they may tell you differently.
