The only problem I was just thinking about is that I use the floor jack and tranny jack at the same time pretty often...I wouldn't want to tie up the floor jack like that.

That would be very helpful. I think I'm gonna go to their store tonight and check them out. How long have you had yours Aaron? Ever had any problems with it?

you dont have any jack stands you can use while you use the jack for the tranny?

Very very true, i am going to Lubbock at the beginning of next week to pick up a 800lb capable one, it sucks with just a regular floor jack pulling the 5 speed, i bet installing it is going to be near impossible!

They don't go up high enough. I have this floor jack, lifts up to 31 5/8 inches. I have to lift the truck way up to slide the trans underneath, then drop it back down again.

I've put a five speed and many turbo 400 in with out tranny jack it just takes two to do it. The tranny jack just makes hole lot better.

Pulled it to gain unrestricted access to the fuel lines so I can run my new -8 feed line. Motor is already out, so it *should* have been a simple job to pull the trans.

Its just me doing it, so we will see, my new slave should be here before the weekend is out, if i cant get it in i will drive it, but if i cant then i will get the jack while i am there!
