Default I'm Sorry to Ask This but....

Does anybody know of a good (as oxymoronic as it sounds. ), informative Honda forum. My female has a honda del sol and its having some hard starting issues and I wanna try to figure it out and save her some money. I did a search on google and they all sounded slightly ghey....almost as ghey as GMFS. (kidding...sorry )

Also if anybody has any ideas or has familiarity with this sort of problem with a honda, let me know.

No, but i'd start with the basics: tune up, clogged injectors etc...

like already said, when was her last tune up?
does it have any oil in it?
does it still have the factory filter?
unless she is in to hot rodding, the only thing a woman knows how to do
is put gas in it and dog the **** out of it until it does not run any more.

Will do tomorrow. Its not that bad its just annoying. Im sure its a fueling problem but it runs fine as soon as it starts. Its almost like the fuel pump isnt priming the injectors or there is a loss of pressure in the lines. I listened and the fuel pump kicks on when the key is turned to the on position. She will have to have a good 30 seconds of cranking it before itll start for her. Thanks for the input guys. Ill look into it further.

Hows the battery. When my wife had a civic it did this when the battery was starting to get bad. Also when the fuel is low, they tend to do this also.

I dont know. Ill get it tested. It really seems to be a fuel problem but when i get ahold of it on tuesday, ill go ahead and get it checked to rule it out. She rarely ever lets the fuel go below 1/4 tank so i doubt its the fuel level.
