Intended use, a picture of the area youre wanting to put it in for grading purposes and time frame would be needed. Id have to call around in Houston to see what I can get concrete for a yard but it shouldnt be much more than I get it here. Depending on how big of an area youre wanting to do I could probably get it done in a weekend pretty easy as long as you arent wanting stamping, staining or brick border.

Well thats pretty easy, just depends on how crazy you want to get with it. There are a few ways to do it, the longer you want it to last the more it costs. I tend to over build a bit buy nature because I dont want to do a job twice. All I need are measurements and I can get you a pretty close quote.

Stamping is where you take a stencil while the concrete is still fairly malleable, you hammer it into the concrete and it leaves a design like its brick, or any number of designs. The design in this concrete is stamped and then obviously its stained but you get the idea.

I wouldn't stamp it if you plan on using the area to work on your truck.

Stamping isnt a big deal, Ive done plenty of driveways with stamping, I dont recommend staining though on a driveway. Even though staining seals the concrete pretty well it still gets discolored and looks wierd depending on what type and how much liquid gets on it.

Ill be staining my driveway because I like the way it looks and sealing my garage floor with epoxy.

Send me the size/area that you are trying to do, and need to decide of its going to be a driveway or a garage. Depending on the future if its a garage it would be a little more work, my dad does side jobs from time to time, he has been doing concrete work for 30yrs. Pm me if interested.

I'm not saying that it would be a big deal. I'm just saying that he plans on using the area to work on his truck. An area that is subject to the occasional fluid spill and the inevitable drop of small pain in the *** parts doesn't need to be any more of a pain in the ***. Seems like it would be kind of annoying for moving a jack around or trying to set up jack stands. Just my opinion.
