Default Garage/Shop speaker recommendations!

I have a 30x32x15 shop I'm building and I'm roughing in the electrical for it now. I was thinking about putting 2 speakers on the front wall and 2 speakers on the back wall. Is 4 speakers overkill or could I just get by with the 2 on the back wall. What do ya'll have in your garages and what brand would you recommend for wall mount speakers. Really not looking for a surround sound system just something to hook up to a receiver for listening to tunes.

Surely some of you listen to tunes in the shop.

seriously, the best setup I have seen is in my old man's garage. Two 25 year old cabinet style speakers (each cabinet has a vented 12" sub, two mids and a tweeter) powered by a 25 year old 500w receiver. Sounds great, can't really turn it up though. The trick with those speakers, so you can't hear/feel the music inside the house (at normal volumes) is to suspend the speaker so they aren't on the floor or a shelf.

Go old school, pick some shiznit up at garage sales or off ebay for cheap. It'll still sound good.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely not looking for something expensive. I'm looking for something used and will probably get it off ebay.

or check out your local pawn shops so you can listen to them and make sure they aren't blown before you buy. there's always a stereo or 2 for sale at the ones around here.
