Be prepared for 12 mpg or less.

Common problems include trans failure, ignition switch, battery, rear diff noise, list goes on really...
I had a awd black one and got 12ish mpg city and 16ish hwy 65mph +...The 2wds are faster stock but on the street its about who has traction..
Id say the best years to get would be 06/07..

I hope to have another tbss again and it will be a white 06 2wd..

Loved my 06 TBSS loaded! AWD was awesome but sucked in winter, got between 10-11 city and 12-15 hwy.
Had an electrical problem - dealer took it back and gave me a 2010 1500.

I would do anything to get back into an AWD TBSS.

Stock for stock including tires i would say the AWD is faster because with 2wd you spin a lot.
