I've had my 08 AWD for a year - only added a tranny cooler and vette servo for reliability. I bought it Certified Pre-Owned but didn't need anything fixed up until now with 50,500 on the clock. Powertrain in 07-up is under warranty until 100k miles.

Very refined drive, comfortable. 4.10 gears and AWD can surprise many on the road off the line.

I would definitely go 3SS and enjoy the extra creature comforts. Mine does not have Navi and I don't miss it. The rear leveling suspension and air compressor do a great job towing which is why I bought it. Wanted a V8 rumble again and the ability to tow my boat in a pinch when wife has the Tahoe. I get 14 MPG in mixed driving.

Good luck!

I had a 2006 RWD for 2 1/2 yrs before it was stolen. It was intake/exhaust/tune only and had no issues with any drive or powertrain parts. I had issues with foglights shaking and headlights fogging up..... stupid junk like that.

I would hit up TBSSOwners.com

I loved it, gas mileage was crappy but, you pay to play.

I'm now in a 2010 GMC Sierra CC with the 6.2L

The biggest thing I heard about the truck were tranny issues in the AWD models and when putting lots of power in the RWD models

Good Luck!!

Yes I somewhat agree...the names of songs on CD's dont show up and the NAV is nothing more than lines with street names on them which requires a CD to run...
