212/218 low lift cam. will work good with a stock/ mild stall great low range and helps across the mid and upper too.

3600 is waaaaayyyy too much for towing or offroading. And the cam is too big for a 4.8
As Darnie said, 212/218 low lift and a 2800 at most stall. That's what I've got in my truck and it pulls like a freight train from 2k up

What kind of off roading are we talking? Like you mudding or your driving off road in fields and such for hunting or some purpose similar to that? A higher stall would probably be ok if your off roading is not mudding or trail rolling at slower speeds, but if your more serious on the off roading aspect. These guys are correct. If your using it as a truck and mild off road a 3600 is a bit high I would think. Some guys tow with 3600 tho, don't think i would want to but im going with a 3200 and I off road (mainly driving in fields and BS for hunting) and i tow (5-6k lbs). I'm also going with a triple disk 10.5 inch converter tho.

Why low lift? Why not something with low duration and higher lift?
