I just installed a 6" Rough Country on my 02 Z71 and it fit great and took me and another friend about 4-1/2 hours to install. But we did have a 2 post lift, and all the tools we could need.

Ok well it sounds like I should revise what I said. The RC lift that I got sucked ***, sounds like others have had good experiences with them. Maybe it was just cause it was a partial lift, or cheater lift or whatever you want to call it. Can't expect much when you pay $600 for the kit. My buddy got a pro-comp lift that was real similar to the one I got and it was a piece too. He sold his Sonoma because of that lift. Different company, same type of kit - new t-bars, UCA's, etc etc. I guess it's just cause it's not really a complete lift.

Sounds like the cheesy 3" lift Rancho used to offer. I tried to put one on a early model ifs chevy and it was a p.o.s. Anytime the guy would go off-road, he'd punch a hole in the oil filter b/c of one the brackets.
