Thanks man. I got my kit from a local 4x4 shop, but I would recommend just finding one online... google a company called Zone Suspension.. they have tons of great kits available.
As far as steering ext, yes the kit did come with a little ext that needed installed... was very simple. Most kits will come with everything you need, minus the gap guards and rear bumper brackets unless you spend a little more money for them... I didn't raise my rear bumper because I didn't add the brackets to my lift
If I were to do it again I would have never did the 3" body for the size tires I was running... I would have did the F150 keys (slightly cranked), 3" rear blocks and a Zone 1.5" body lift. I hated the gap my 3" BL had, the frame hung out more than the HDs do... the 1.5" kits look great and are about half the price.
Here are 2 pics of the same wheel/tire setup after I took the 3" BL back off... as you can see I still cleared the 285s w/o any rubbing
