Default new to audio

i dont know anything really towards audio stuff but i was wanting to upgrade my speakers and get a sub and amp because i got a free pair of eclipse sc36

Eclipse SC8365 6-1/2" 3-way Component System (SC-8365)

i already put them in my front doors but i want a matching setup (same brand) so i need tweeter?(i think the ones above the speaker on the doors?) and a nice amp and subs. idk what to look for in a amp so if someone could help me out and give me some links would be appreciated.

my trucks a ext cab 04 silverado so ya know what to help me with as in back door speakers and stuff. Thanks.

well for subs most people on here will probably mention kicker (Not my choice) ssince you can get a box sub and amp pretty cheap. But i feel like there is alot better. With you having an extended cab sub choice is kind of limited. but i would recommend the rockford p3s. i had one of the older ones in my truck a couple years ago.
Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-12 12" Dual 4-ohm Punch Stage 3 Series Shallow Subwoofer
possibly this amp
Rockford Fosgate Punch P400-1 Monoblock Car Amplifier/Amp (P4001)
then just buy a pre built box for underneath the seat

for door speakers i would say just look online for the same ones to buy.

it depends on how many you really want. when i had that sub i only had one 12 and i was content with it because at the time i was not looking for a ton of bass just good sounding bass.

and sorry i meant just look for another set of the same door speakers you have if thats what you want to stick with.

I had a pair of Premium MBquart 10's on a rockford 2600W 2 channel. Since then I've moved to a pair of JL12V3 and a pair of 400W monoblock Alpine amps.

stay away from brand like eclipse, MB quart, etc. their junk, theres much better products out there for the money. when it comes to audio, you get what you pay for. stick to the higher end brands. JL, Morel, etc.
Side note, if you really want to go highend, I have a line on some Morel component sets flown in from Israel. 2500$ a pair. thats a deal. i put a set in a benz, dopest sounding door speakers ive ever heard.

You don't have enough air space under your ex cab seat for two of those P3s without modification. I would do one. Or look at sundown audio. There E series is extremely good for under seat set ups. You have enough room for a lot of different tens if you want to go dual subs 12s you normally don't with out raising your seat. You will want to match the amps rms rating to the subs rms power handling. Never look at max wattage. For a box look at subthump.com.

If it was my truck I would do two sundown e 10s in a sub thump box on about 500 Watts. A good amP would be the alpine mrp-m500

Speaker wise go to a local store and listen around. I personally like the alpine s series for a good value speaker.

Maybe eventually look at adding an amp on your speakers to for more volume and clarity. A 4 channel will push all 4 speakers at wattage a stock radio or aftermarket couldn't think about pushing.
