Default Has anybody taken apart some Denali Headlights?

I was thinking about pulling my Denali headlights apart but Im not sure if I want to or not.

Does the back of them just come off where the projectors are? Do the Projectors just come out or will I have to take the front off to do this?

Thinking about putting true HID projectors in them instead of just a kit

The Lense will come apart from the Rest of the housings... Remove the Clips that hold the Lens, then bake the lights and try prying them open...

What do you plan on sticking in there? Denali Projectors do well with HID's...

don't the projectors use the H3 bulb? just get whatever supposed to go in there.

if it's the 9006's next time you come over we can test fit the bulb and pattern with my HID's

Its 9005's but I know the bulbs will slip in nicely for the 9006's We can check it out just for testing purposes

i did put 9006 in mine first, dont do it, you have to remove the ring and try to jamb them in there, the shank on the 9006 is wider so it wont seat in there, but my 9005HID fit and do nicely

You can set them in there and see how the pattern is but not lock them in or try to force them in. Thats what I was talking about. Not trying to force them in

Yea, Try to get Nicks 9006 and see if you like the pattern... I did it on my moms Yukon and it was great IMO... The Denali Projectors have great color to them and have a nice cut off for Halogens... Try and see...

If for some reason you do buy the 9005 kit and later decide to go OEM then you can always buy just the bulbs for your new projector...
