Ext cab rear seat q's
#1
my buddy's got a 99 ext chevy and we were thinking about throwing a pair of kicker 15 l7's under the seat. but i don't think there is enough room. is there a way i could raise the seat a few inches? (2-3) so i could get some more clearance?? i saw on fsc there was a guy that was talking about it but i didnt really get it and there was no picture so it was kinda pointless k thanks for looking...

There is no way you can fit two 15" l7s under the seat and give them enough airspace ported or not. Hell, even with a seat lift you can't fit a 15" under there
EDIT-At minimum they're going to need 1.5 ft^3 of space each. You are going to need a box with 5 ft^3 of airspace to even consider making them sound decent.

A guy named ibthumpin makes lift brackets on FSC, he made me some 2.5" lift blocks so I could fit 2 12jlw6s under my seat.
This pic will work tomorrow:

edit: if you dont want to wait, here is the album, pic 3 and 6 http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...stem/Finished/

Yea I hope so.. I'm thinking about pulling my cvrs out and throwing some re audio 10's or 12's the airspace on the tens is only like 1.25^3 a piece optimal and the twelves are right at 2.0^3 optimal, which may be a little big....
