Default Driver side speaker

2006 silverado, 2500hd.
My driver side door speaker works intermittently and I cannot figure out the problem. When I get in the truck in the am, it doesnt work, but the tweeter does and sometimes, not always, after a certain period of time, the speaker comes back to life. No cracking, popping or distortion. Connection to the speaker is good. What can be the culprit here? Bad head unit? Lemon law?

Same problem with my factory Bose DS speaker, bought new speakers, thought of it as a good opportunity/excuse to upgrade. Never found out what was wrong with it

Both of my door speakers do the same (bose factory). I think it has to do with corrosion on the speaker connectors. If I bump the door with my foot they usually start right back up. It doesn't bother me because it will all be changed soon!

do all of you have the bose systems? if so it sounds like it could be your amps making a bad connection, possibly grounding itself out, or even just the amps on it's way out

No bose system. Just the low grade package.
