I thought about starting a poll, but didn't want to jinx my sheeeeeeit! I was over by Nick(tm) & white1's yesterday... told them I'm happy about learning what works, what doesn't, and how to make it better, but I'm not too happy about having to rebuild 'em. I can just about do this with my eyes closed. I came to the determination that I'm going to have my exhaust redone. It is a pain in the azz to pull the trans. As for workin' for ya... ha ha... when you opening a shop down South? Wifey not moving North of Baton Rouge.

Well... The ONLY problems I had with the trans I got from you is the darn input sprags don't last. This makes two that I've gone through. Currently, the line pressure seems high for the 1-2 shift (although it's stock). Thanks to the HD2, shifts are HELLA firm. Still barks tires during the shift. Don't think removing the last washer will help. I've made some tune adjustments last night. I'll flash it tomorrow after work. I've got Monday and Tuesday to do some logging. My newborn comes back home for several days while parents are out of town. During that time, I'll evaluate my logs, and see what I can do to wake the truck up a lil bit more.

Just came back from a company sponsored golf tourney. I need not say how much "drink" was there. I'll be driving the truck to/from work next week. I'm gonna be looking at something to eliminate the vibration above 85 mph.

What's with that first statement? I guess you're talkin' 'bout the poll.

I saw it... you are right about the drum. i ALWAYS second guessed it on ALL of the rebuilds. I'm thinking of a way I can stand the trans the way you'd build it with a clamp to hold it vertically. I need a freakin' shop. The back of my truck just doesn't cut it. The clearance was still off though. Dunno how, but I'll triple check it, and have Nick and Matt check it (since they offered to help).

That would be correct. You will have to let me know how loose that drum is when you order the vac-mod and I will send you a couple of plates to tighten it up. Vince
