Default 15 inch wheel and break questions...again

I know this has been beaten to death but I'm asking for help here. I am going to fit a 15x10 under this truck, but i have ground and ground and cant even get the wheels to fit around the caliper brackets. I am considering changing to the drum set up if i cant get a solution for the discs but that is a last resort. So my question is, is there another option to consider besides the s10 calipers and grinding (smaller brakes/calipers/brackets) older, newer, aftermarket, it doesn't matter. I am open for suggestions. I would be interested in some explicit pictures of the s10 calipers and brackets that have been shaved to see what is considered the limit of grinding before destroying

Quick backstory, I have 2 sets of 20's for DD. I finally found the 4th EVO 476 to replace the one UPS lost in shipping, I have a set of Centerline Orions in a 20x9.5 and 20x8 staggered setup that has taken like 3 months b/c UPS damaged the front 2 of THOSE in shipping, and the 20's are worthless for traction. On my current setup, I can do a white smokey burnout at 80 with the 20's on it. I run a sub-optimum set-up at the track with 15x8 and 30x10.5 hoosiers and they work ok(1.65 60fts) at 16#s. I REALLY want to fit these 15x10.5 pacers that I got from a member on here with a 28x10.5 so give me some ideas.

Current setup is 2004 ext cab, procharged at about 650/650 to the wheels on slicks. truck is down for a couple of weeks while procharger upgrades the headunit. p1 was making too much heat so im gonna try the d1 setup and see if i can cool it (IAT's) down some. none of this means anything if i cant make it stick. Thanks in advance.-troy

Keep grinding. I almost quit before getting them to fit. This was on 04 stock disk brakes with s10 calipers.

your going to have to run s10 calipers or drum brakes.

i'm running the s10 calipers and i've ground them pretty thin (REALLY thin). I also angle cut the end of the caliper bracket and welded the end back closed and contoured the wheel side. on the brake side of the bracket (inboard) i cut the top half of the pin pocket off and tapered it as well. Its kinda hard to explain but on the pins themselves, I turned the hex head down (looks like the floating pins now, drilled a 1/8" relief in the side so i can insert a hex key when tightening the calipers down. I've had more trouble with the brackets than i have with the calipers but i think i'm getting close now. I'm gonna mock them up tonight and see how they're looking. i really think it'll be worth it when i'm done..... or the caliper will brake in half from grinding so thin, i'll hit the wall, flip the truck over, spill methanol all over me and burn to the size of a three time fried mcdonalds french fry in an impressive flameless death and it won't matter any way.......seriously though, they're pretty thin but i've tried to keep my dimensions at or above the dimensions of the thinnest sections of the stock calipers. still grinding. thanks for all the ideas, i really just needed some encouragement i think.
