BlackGMC, Did you get your ram air system working yet? I can send you a drawing on where to place the 4" hole in the bottom of the airbox. Search for threads that I started and you can see how I did it. Just let me know if you want the drawing.

Jeff

EDIT - here is the link to how I mounted the tube to the airbox https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=315183

No I have just got one of them made, still need to paint it and make the one for the other side. yeah I saw your threads and that is what gave me the idea on how to make one, so thank you for your ideas. If you could please send me the drawing on where to cut the hole, that would be great. What did you use to cut the hole? the cheapest 4" hole saw I found was like $27.

BTW, Sorry to get off topic in your thread.

Warranty.... what's that?

Like I said in the other thread, those wheels look great on your truck. Don't sweat the useablity of a dropped truck. I had 800#+ in mine (10 80# bags of concrete + misc lumber) and it was fine. Sure it was riding on the bumpstops, but it kept me from stuffing tires into fenders.

How are you liking the Tru-trac??

The Tru-Trac is great. I had one odd day with it though. At around 200 miles of break in it started to squeek only on left had turns for like a hour. I let rest overnight and all has been well since then. I currently have around 750 miles on it.

The diff makes driving the truck better, when I hit the gas it goes without any spin. It acts like an open diff around corners when applying light throttle. With more throttle you can feel the diff start to lock up. Its very predictable, unlike the G80 (you never knew when it was going to lock up), and it instills confidence that the truck will grip when required.

Jeff your truck looks awesome. Those wheels have to be one of the best looking GM wheels going. Looks better on your truck then on a brand new Yukon.
