Finally got around to finsihing up the headlight switch and the cargo light button. here are some pics showing what I did. Ended up with 5 LED's on the headlight switch circuit board. There are some hot spots but overall I can live with it. I was able to get the dimmer switch icons to light up as well.

had to modify the housing so it didnt pinch the wires going into the dimmer switch, also had to drill out only part of the dimmer roller stop at the bottom of the dimmer roller so more light would come through.

I purchased my LED's here

5mm Super Bright flat top LEDs from Leading-LEDs.com - Your Source for High Quality, Low Cost LEDs

and found a wealth of knowledge here - really good write up with pics of all the circuit boards and which terminals are positive and negative.

Here's my question and I hope it can be added to the first page.. How many bulbs do I need for each unit? and what sizes.

How many for the cluster background? (5mm?)
What size for the needles?
How many for the A/C unit? sizes?
What size for the door controls?

Really don't wana have to open everything up and count how much I need. Just want to make sure i order enough of each color I want to use. Likely Blue, Red, Green (a/c on lights), and possibly white.

buy a 100 of each color, they're cheep . . . . and you're going to screw up
Buy them off of ebay, wait 2-3 weeks for delivery from China

I got 50 for $5.50 so go for like 100-150 and you should be set, don't forget your resistors for about the same price.

What needles would look best. Doing blue LEDs for the cluster. Blue needles or red? Or white?

I put blue needles in mine with blue LED's. I like the way it looks. Can someone tell me if the NNBS trucks are similar as far as the clusters. I can put the led's in them pretty much the same way correct?

From what I have been told it's a royal PITA but I have not physically looked at a NNBS cluster. I know I asked when I had my 2011 Sierra and everyone said it's not worth the effort.

As far as what? Disassembly or getting the LED's to work or what?
