yes they are . . . but still use a meter to double check. I've done 5 radios, and not all are the same. Meaning TB SS dash vs the LT dash on trucks, vs the trucks

You can use all blue or do blue and red.

Take a 5mm socket or the needle nose vise grips to the 4 screws located on the back. Pull off the black ***** and then you'll see the circut board. Here's a few pics with the LEDs mounted.

are you using a red led and a blue led behind the temp dial??

Yes. Difference LEDs may have a different current rating which in turn would mean you'd have to adjust the resistors accordingly.

Resistance= Volts / Current

Does anyone know what the supply voltage for the factory lighting for a 2003+ silverado? I was using a resistor calculator because, as I wanted to find the required resistor for orange leds.

Has anyone done the orange led's? Super bright sells them but they are only 15 deg for the 3mm, has anyone found wider angle orange?

Most likely 5 volt. You can measure with a meter. You may need one any how to find polarity. Not sure on orange seems like you may eat to double them up. Be sure to let us know how it goes.
