LED dash swap install instructions: 03-08 Classic Silverado

Long time reader with a first post. I've taken so much info from this board I thought I'd try to give some back. The info here was awesome! Thanks. I did a full dash swap with blue LEDs and had done the factory nav update earlier as well. With my factory nav buttons showing greenish white and fading I thought I'd open it up to see what I could change. Good luck came as the factory nav has surface mount BLUE LEDs. Delphi used yellow molds to make the white green look so I decided to Dremel out the yellow and now I have a factory blud nav unit. Theses are the best pics I could come up with:

Hey guys this is great info, thanks. I have a 07 Silverado classic, I changed all running and turn signal lights to led, then had to change flasher to a Lm489, but now my turn indicators glow on dash with headlights on! Any idea how to fix that? Also changed interior lights and the main light on roof glows when all others turn off!

Hey guys, I figured I'd ask this here since most of you will probably know the wiring and possibly know what's going on.
I have a 2005 Silverado, and was going to do the LED swap. Before I did that I decided to get an extra Seek and Volume button due to the factory being kinda sticky on the seek side instead of free moving. That also enabled me to have a test dummy. Before getting the new button, I only have the Source and Seek lights still working on my buttons. I noticed yesterday that none of them are on now and even when I put in the new button the lights on it didn't come on.
Would anyone know what could be causing the lights not to come on? The buttons are functioning, but not lighting up.

Does anyone have any ideas or info on finding polarity of the 10 bulb contacts on the stock radio board. I didn't want to take the circuit board out, have it loose and replug it into the radio harness risking damage to it.
I finished climate control with no problems and want to do the whole show.

So you're saying I should plug the board back in to truck, power and meter it out? That's all good. I was just hoping for a way to do it in the comfort of my living room. Thanks

installed the radio back in the dash with the board plugged into the ribbon cable
I used a body ground, and then used the positive side on the meter to tone out all of the positive sides on the board.
I marked each one with a sharpie
took the board back in the house and started the solder work.
