Thanks for all the info about 4-High. This has been a lot of help. I've got a 2000 silverado and my next task is to get my drl's to stay on at night along with during the day. I wanted to know if there is a way to tie them into my parking lights. If there is an easier way... or if anyone knows how please help me out.
Thanks

Looked this tread over start to finish and didn't find an answer, or if I did it's above me so I didn't know it. I melted my fogs with the wrong bulb and now have amber running LEDs on lower valance and they turn off when highs come on. Kinda stupid. Any help. Thanks.
I too have read this entire thread, with no luck on how to have fogs with highs on the earlier models (Mine being 2000). Or did I miss something? TY

If you guys really want your fogs on with your Hi-4 mod just wire your fogs to a rocker switch in the cab. Not as convenient but it is effective.

I thought having HIDS would make this different but it Works perfect on my 02 sierra, only thing i need to do now is wire it up so that the fogs stay on also when the hi-4's are on.

I just got my 2011 Sierra and after reading this info, I want to do the same to mine. I have had all of my previous trucks wired to do the four headlights, but with the newer wiring systems I want to do it right. The idea of a diode makes it seem so simple. Has anyone done this on 2010 or 2011 model yet? Just want to do it right. Also, I have been thinking of an upgrade to the wiring harness and putting in a higher wattage set of lights.

Just keep Chooglin along!

on mine, i cut the yellow wire and grounded it to the body. you can see the passenger side with no mod, and driver's side with mod.

i have my fogs rigged to my stereo. if stereo is on, so are the fogs. wire taps are great
