For a 99 like mine there are yellow wires in the plug to the low beam. You cut that yellow wire and ground it to the body. the side that goes to the headlight gets grounded. this worked for me.

i didn't do any of the other lights though just the lowbeams.

Just did the mod on my '00. Easiest mod I've done. I did it on the left headlight only and it worked, should I keep it as is or do it to the right?

ok so to make things clear....
if i want my fogs to come on during the daytime (brown line),
if i want my low beams to stay on when i use my high beams (blue line)
if i want my fogs to stay on when the low beams are on without having to use the button im assuming thats its still t4/b5 (brown line)

ok so now thats its dark out i have had the opportunity to see how the lights react when they go to automatic lowbeam.

i take it the fog lights are not supposed come on at night unless i push the button, of course now when i push the button the DRL comes on (which i love). until i click the high beams. then its just high/lows on. I just want to make sure i havent done anything wrong and this is how its supposed to work.

thanks in advance.

maybe i just missed it, but what gauge wire is everybody using to ground the yellow low beam wire on the 99-02? i have some extra 12 & 14 gauge at work, but i don't know if that'll be too much.
