So I'm gonna keep this thread going...

Just did the "mod", very simple, hardest part was trying to put those tiny diode leads in the holes with low light. But now thanks to you I've got lows/fogs on low setting, and hi/low/fog/drl for high. Awesome, thanks again.

instead of drls my lows automatically come on. is everyone else's truck like this? after putting in hids i dont want the lows on during the day. i plan on running the fogs to the lows at night but how do i get rid of the lows during the day?

It all depends how you installed your diodes. Remove the one from the DRL's to the Low's and you'll be all set.

During the day, your light sensor triggers the DRL's to come on through the BCM. Your just using the Diodes to steal the trigger and force the lows on as well.

oh ok thanks alot. i bought this truck as a repo so im not sure on a few things lol. i'll look at how its hooked up and pull the diode. thx

wondering the same thing... my lows come on all the time. how can i get my drl's back??

i havent installed any yet thats the thing. the lows are just always on.
