thanks for the great article
on mine, i cut the yellow wire and grounded it to the body. you can see the passenger side with no mod, and driver's side with mod.
i have my fogs rigged to my stereo. if stereo is on, so are the fogs. wire taps are great

if you have a 03 and up, I know you can just splice them into the turn signal wires, and replace the DTRL bulb with a orange one, so the whole bottom light is one big light, like the 88-98 trucks. But no more DTRL's

so all you do is cut the yellow wire (that is behind the headlight) and ground it... right???

For the whole bottom light to be yellow try these two

Right, I think for the 02 and under like to 99, you cut the yellow wire at the lowbeam light and ground it to get the four high.
If I could get my hands on a 99-02 truck around here I could figure out anything that you need for electrical stuff.

yup, that is exactly what you do.
snip that yellow wires that comes right out of the low beam bulb, leave enough room to crimp a butt connector. then i ran new wire to any available nearby bolt, sanded the paint, and grounded the wire. it was super easy. i could take pics of the wiring in the engine bay if you would like
