... fit in a regular cab truck that has the 40/20/40 seats? Bolt in place of the center seat?

Yes, I have one in mine as do others.

 

Are you referring to the center console extension bezel that connects the dash and center console? If so, yes it should fit. I have one in my reg cab also.

Well, I went ahead and ordered one. Its special ordered from Michigan so it will be late this week before I get it. I hope its the correct color... as I ordered it from a VIN off of an 06 SS in Silver Birch Metallic with the same color code interior. I'll post pics when its installed. Damn they are pricey... but my truck is worth it . I am also gonna do the JL Stealth box in the console with an amp under the passenger seat. I saw the stealth box at a local stereo shop and said "Thats It - Gotta Have It!". I felt this was a better fit for me instead of a box behind the seats because I run my seat all the way back.

I set my 06 RCSB right against an 06 Silverado SS and the transistion is different. Looks like I need to change the entire lower (center to passanger side) dash/glove box bezel. And it looks like the glove box itself is the same. No?
