a good wax to use is eagle one nanowax easy on and easy off. wax my truck atleast once a month

Truck came out great...I can attest to how much work it is. I did a complete detail on my truck in June that took me a day and a half. Also used Meguiar's products (clay bar, paint cleaner, polish, and Generation NXT wax). Man, what a difference it made!

detailing is so tricky. i have cars turn out perfect all the time, but it only takes one faulty time. one time where you can't do anything right. some clear coats are harder or softer then others. i will have days when a polish cuts too much, then i have days when rubbing compound won't cut a mediocre swirl. its very frustrating you guys need to stay focused. a good detail by someone who doesnt do it everyday may take a few hours longer, but just stick with it. once its done, you will be glad you did.

Yep it sure is fun! I had to try two long days of using the wrong products and tools to figure it out.
still get hung up every once and a while but its worth it in the end!
