WTF, they use 22" tires? Does that mean that they lip wraps over the tires giving the look of 27"?

 

I have not seen them in person, but I was given that info and the web site proves it. I would not spend that kind of money on 22's that are supposed to look bigger.

 

I just checked Lexani's web page, and they are 22" rims disguised as 27's.

 

Let me get this strait, 22 inch rims made to look like 27 inch rims at the price of 27 inch rims? That is as dumb as a cardboard blower stickin outta my hood. Thats just about as dumb as RICE!!! HAHA

The only problem is the offset of the rims, the aftermarket rims tend to stick out further then stockers and are wider. I have slight rub with my 20's I dont know how bad it would be with 23's. I have 285/50/20 and I want 305/40/23. About an inch and a half taller and 20mm wider, guess the actuall rim plays a big part in how much it rubs.

 

i have 22" rims on my 01 tahoe , 305/45/22 tires. never rubbed. i only drove like 200 miles on them though. now i am trying to sell them, because i got 24's ( not yet installed )
