so i just got my taillights smoked, and there dark!







was thinking about ordering these leds to make my tails alittle bit brighter.

what are you guys with smoked tails running, stockers or leds?

 

i think the led will work good. ive never seen those leds before but ive seen people run the ones that just have 5 leds pointing straight back and they kinda suck. since there pointing straight back they dont really reflect on the inside of the brake light so you get about a 1" circle for a brake light. but since those have leds all around i bet they will wok great. make sure to report back if you do use them.

 

yeah ive also seen those stupid 5 leds bulbs, there a joke lol.

i think im going to get them, and im also going to get some leds for the third brake light too.

My tails are tented as well. Not as dark as yours though. Here is a pic of mine compairing the stock vs the leds.

Im running tinted tails on both my trucks, i would like to also find some nice looking LED bulbs also.

The have quick shipping, and nearly anything you could ever think of.

One thing to keep in mind if you are replacing the bulbs that are your turn signal you will generaly need an led flasher. They typicaly have differant ohms then a incandecent bulb therfore without an led flasher your signals will be going crazy.

 

yeah im not replacing the turn signals, just the brake light bulbs, since those are the ones the cops are a pita about lol.

I bought some led tails and then added a led for my reverse light. I also have them smoked pretty dark but still able to see from a long distance. It looks sick!

getting a pic tomorrow when i have my camera.

 

too bad they dont make led tails for my truck. i could have had them smoked, and had no problems with light output...
