well i just put my tails on today, and they are friggin dark! cant even see the light during the day, and there not that much better at night lol. anybody else have some suggestions?

I agree, those don't look very bright. If the camera can take a picture of the bulb when it's on and not wash out, that's a pretty good clue.

I've only bought small 194 LEDs from superbrightleds, and they are very nice. I can't justify spending $17+ per 3157 style bulb however.
