Default finally ran a new supercharged tundra

Me and a friend were at a local car/truck show in scottsdale. And we end up meeting a cool guy with a white 08-11 tss charged tundra. He had trd 22s and looked to be lowerd a bit. ,clean truck. So we went out and did a few runs. First we did a 55 punch. We were dead even for the first 2 or 3 seconds. Then he started to walk off on the topend. We shut down around 95 ish and he had about 1 1/2 cars on me. The top end on that thing was beast.

Then we did 2 digs. The first one we shut down at 90ish and I had about 2 cars on him. He said he had some wheel hop and that he wonted to try again. The second time I let out early bc he tryed something different and just blew the tires off.

Win some loose some. I was more than happy. I doing a tune soon and some trans work. And we will go round 2.

was he a crewmax? Single cabs are low 13's high 12's and double cabs are low 13's. You using a bigger shot? They also trap around 107-108 in the 1/4 so he must have been doing something wrong if all he had you by was 1 1/2 lengths. What have you done different?

I am so far behind. Seems like almost all of the companies have performance trucks out for 2011 and I feel like I am in the dark reading about them here. I have been out of the performance truck game for a while, since it seemed like it was dying in the new car industry. Suddenly, this year, they are all over the place again.

Seems some of the car rags are writing not-so-nice things about them, calling the manufacturers stupid for doing such a thing. I know it's a niche, but hey, some of us want the trucks that go fast.

Sounds like a wicked truck though, with tons of potential. would like to see one tuned with a few bolt ons, I bet they are just ridiculous

Not sure what to tell you. The faster we whent the haeder he started to pull. But from 55 to 95 he only had me by 1 1/2. Cars. It was a 4 door. But not the full back door.

I went to the track the other day. For a street event. , no track prep, bad head wind. But it was still fun bc everyone ran like ****.

I made one pass. 40min drive straight to the stageing lains. I had a terible pass. But it was. 14.1. @94. Locked in 4high. With. 4189 DA

Good night I should be 13.4s.

I ran an extended cab one at the track a couple times. heavy sob was going mid-low 13's hot lapping. I was very impressed. Very nice guy too. Here's one run.

Owner said he went 12.9 once. If he had a stall, i think it would of been a consistent high 12's sec truck.

Tuning is key and we don't have it. Fastest time I've. Seen was a 12.7 from a double cab tundra with supercharger and long tubes. He recently got 4.88 gears. He's gonna run next month. Should be mid 12s.

There is a rc/sb. Without the charger. Running gears and a large shot. And he is running 7.98. 1/8th. But hasn't ran the full 1/4th.
