More power will make the clutches slip a little more during engagement. Pretty normal...

EDIT...decided I'm going to change the internal harness given ATF inside the connector rather than leave it as is. Gotta do things the right way to get right results.

I did buy a Delco internal harness to replace the current one ($39) since I know the seeping through the pins is not normal but I'm also suspecting it's at least partially due to the practice of overfilling the trans to prevent starvation.

Also, just a note, comparing logs from the track run in sig to 3rd gear highway pull on new setup. Peak Air/flow grams/cyl ...S475 = 1.85 S480 = 2.25

This is the first thing I thought of when I read the issue. It still makes sense with part throttle as a tighter converter will get up to speed with less throttle and rpm thus translating to a lower calculated torque. Don't immediately dismiss the idea just because it doesn't fit in with your line of though.

Your peak airflow readings change anytime you alter the ve table. Just a FYI.

Good point and noted. I'm still going to change the internal harness as fluid leaking thru the pins can't be good. Unfortunately, that means no track Friday, but I could still hit up the 1/8th on Sunday.

Also, I'm now truly maxed out on my injectors and basically maxed out on the 2.5 bar map. I've been in talks with Gagezited about a stock style 3 bar MAP. I would love to get this thing up to 25 psi. Upgrading to 1700 cc injectors is going to be a boat load of cash, but I just don't know of any way around that for hi-impedance injectors. At some point though the spending just has to stop. I just want that 9 sec. pass though.

I looked back thru the thread and didn't see; Have you changed out the stock rails/regulator with aftermarket? Still on the 1000cc FIC injectors?

Yes and yes to both questions. I'm still running stock fuel lines and filter from the firewall to the tank.
