My cruise IAT doesnt seem that bad. It's worse than it was with the 1900 and the less powerful cooling system, but they aren't bad at all.

I experience a very fast IAT rise compared to others with comparable pump and HEX combo's. Granted I am spinning my blower a little faster, but not enough to warrant this difference. Recovery times seem decent.

You said you were going to test the flow through the intercooler garden hose style, did you ever do that?

To be more scientific about it, youll need to test the pump with no resistance to get a baseline, then put a pressure gauge between the pump and intercooler and test output flow from the intercooler and pressure between the pump and intercooler.

I'll provide my .02,

The Varimax pump is overrated for what it is. An OEM ZR1 pump out flows it. The only pump that is better than the OEM ZR1 pump is the Stewart Warner EMP pump.

Yea they're out of hand.

I think the varimax can do the job. I'm just a little underwhelmed at the moment. I have other issues going on though.

I need to replace my knock sensors so the blower will be coming off this week hopefully...

I will peel the blower apart and see whats going on with the intercooler. I'd like to have that done before I go to LS fest this thursday night... but we all know how that goes.

I'd be surprised if your knock sensors can even do anything with all that noise on top and that cam.

What issues do you think you have with them?

I have a code for low voltage and they give me erratic knock with a max knock as soon as I enter PE or boost.

I'll replace them when I pull the blower and desensitize them in my tune a little bit.
