Was just a passing thought. You may actually be on to something with the missing signal for the module possibly causing the issue.

What kind of WB are you using that registers 2.8? Or is that number from the PCM scanner datalog?

That is commanded AFR, not actual AFR.

Did you look at the tune? Are you running a MAF. My values were off and making it command rich.

Gotcha. Makes more sense that way.

The O2's aren't used to correct for fueling until you go into closed loop. It's fueling is going to be controlled by startup tables, and the MAf. I'd guess that it's either something in the tune, or something to do with the way you're running it on the E38 computer. Since you're breaking new ground(more or less), it's hard to say. I hope you get her going soon, I want to see this beast in action.

No correction to fueling results in 2.8:1 AFR lol, so they definitely aren't doing any correcting. I think it might be the lack of a BCM. Maybe there is a workaround in the tune. Either way, the FPCM will need input from the BCM, so I have to get one regardless.

Just throwing this out there as a wild *** guess.....

If the PCM(VCM?) isn't getting fuel pressure data from the BCM, maybe the PCM has a default that commands more fueling via injector PWM to prevent a lean condition. Maybe?

Like, if the TCM sees a serious slipping in the transmission, the TCM commands maximum line pressure as a default.

Who knows? Certainly not me, I'm just guessing and trying to brainstorm.

Also, what is the PCM showing as calculated alcohol content?

Thats what I figured. If it is being caused by the BCM, its for some reason like that. Haven't looked at calculated alcohol content.
