Try concrete overpasses, those have heavy rake finishes on them and should hook pretty dang good.

Have you strapped the front end down? Time for stickier tires it sounds like.

I do need to snag those from Andy at some point... And Jarrett tells me to lower the front end.

 

Don't start dicking around with that. It's unnecessary if you have a good converter, imo.

 

Hah I'm with ya on that, minimum abuse needed to win the race. But if I can't keep up with it unlocked...we'll see. Its what the fast guys do This converter feels miles ahead of the circle d though. I'm ruining cars now on less boost now whereas before with 2-3 more psi it would take a while to pull away.

 

What converter are you running right now?

That's what I told him. My converter "won't" lock for whatever reason and it's really the last thing on my to-do list. I really don't think I'll bother figuring it out. If I want more power I'll just add more boost. The only inconvenience of the converter not locking is the drop in mpg's. My tranny cooler seems to keep up with it well.
