Are you not using your whole tank or just not the sensor? Can I grab the sensor from you? I guess we'll figure it out manana! I might have to go to the dealership and Hawaii Racing tomorrow as well so it will be a full day and I gotta be back in downtown by 3:30pm too. I'm borrowing scotty's car at 9:30 and gonna shoot straight to Hawaii then over to you, maybe I can lighten your load by taking that level sensor from you!!

Very cool!!
I'm gonna talk to chuck/vince or Andy tomorrow as well as Dave at Yank and just verify with them on what their opinions are on it then I will unbolt the converter and push it back as far as I can...it's possible that the converter slipped out one "click" when the tranny fell on my face and I didn't notice it!!

No harm in unbolting the converter and seeing how far back into the trans she'll go without damaging the pump and re-measuring the clearances. The whole converter mounting issue is the only thing about this build that has me freaked out, one simple little mistake and there goes $1000 in rebuilding the damn pump!
Gotta get it right the first time!
...NOW WHO'S WITH ME!!!

I had it tuned so that it would not turn that code or warning light on until it got to so hot...basically if figured, i have a gauge, i know if i have a leak ill smell it, and if the v6 didn't have it, the v8 dont, so take those $.02 for what they are worth. I just have a floating connector

You lost me dustin, you talking about the level sensor? I have the harness plug, just no sensor in the bottom of the overflow tank, think it fell out. I could dissable it like your suggesting but I figure since I have the harness capabilities, might as well use it!

I'm gonna have enough floating connecters as it is anyways! I think I counted 12 at last count!

Its not just about using the sensor and wether it works or not but you have to plug the hole up as well other wise you will have a leak when you go to fill it up!!!

You won't have the low coolant sensor on that overflow tank, it comes without it from the factory. Turn off the light in the calibration.
