It HAD traction assist so it did come with DBW I guess. I say HAD because the stock shock absorbers are sitting on my storage shelf.
I also stopped by the stealership and got a new TB seal for the LS7 and got a new MAP sensor with grommet. Can't believe the price of these things!!!

The traction control is the button on the left of the dash, it shuts the throttle when the wheels spin. The shocks were connected to the auto-ride button in the center dash, that one is no longer used.

i thought that only the 03 up trucks came with the DBW i learn something new everyday
it must be a heavly optioned truck then from the factory cause ive never seen traction assit on a RCSB whats the chances of getting some interior shots just for ***** and giggles

Agreed. My 02 has dbw + traction assist. Has nothing to do with the shocks, its a throttle thing.

Well stupid me!!!
Thanks Henry!
Got a new TB seal at GM, it's the LS7 seal, I think this is what Edelbrock had originally designed this groove for!

So off came the TB again!
Look ma no bolts!!
...

RTV didn't make too much of a mess, it actually woulda worked looking back but I'm glad I got the right one in it's place...

Spent about 30 minutes removing all the RTV from the flanges and then I stuck the new gasket in...like butter!!

And then torqued down the TB to 97 in/lbs and called that job done in my book!!
