off the top of my head, I want to say about 65 ft pounds, or some ware around there. The scaryer part is some of the really old SBC didn't even have a bolt to hold the dampener on, just a press fit

Bill, doesn't look like my block is tapped for the timing chain damper


Is it just me or does this look like an LS2 timing chain set?


You know I've never seen this on an American Car/Truck before, but it looks like the factory uses "Three Bond" in the corners of the timing chain/oil pan gasket.............This what I use on my CBR954RR, awesome stuff! I'm a big fan of Three Bond products If you look closely at the pic you will see the white gasket material
