I know I have seen black interior paint at many local parts stores, but I have never seen tan. Not my shade anyways.

NOt my shade either pewter and the tan colors are the hardest to match. My next trcuk will be black on black so there wont be any of this damn paint matching BS

i believe hes looking for black paint guys. i think he just wants to paint the spot where he was working

you know, it's kinda hard workin in that little gauge area in those confined quarters, lol, and I'm only using 2"x2" squares of sand paper, LOL

So Far So Good.....I blended in the gauge holes a little better and did a test fit so you can get an idea of what they will look like:

Why do you need a pyrometer? Thought only turbo and diesel guys really worried about their EGT.

couple of reasons, first, just like making optimal power @ XX.X AFR you make optimal power XXXX deg EGT; second, if a Cat starts clogging(or some other inefficiency) you will see a trend towards elevated EGT readings, this will prompt you to start trouble shooting the cause.
