Most use thinner flanges...I use 1/2" flanges, for thr turbo flange I weld with the housing bolted to it and for header flange side its bolted to head.

I take time to weld mine and then toss them on belt sander alittle.

Some of the newer names are out there trying to produce the cheapest kits...this bites them in the *** over and over again.

The OP can take it to a belt sander or machine shop and have it trued up

KB uses 1/2" flange.

These things warp, it's just the nature of the beast. But they shouldn't be warped out of the box.

It's warped out of the box bad enough all the bolts can't be installed.. I wouldn't have had an issue with it if it was repairable. I'm pretty fuming pissed about it, it was installed and mocked on a engine before it was shipped I really dunno how that could be.

Mine warped pretty bad after a lot of use...had to use a hammer to get it off since it was jammed between two of the studs.
