Did some suspension work and went to the track again. Changed all 4 shocks out, having issues with weight transfer over the back.. Here's what's been done:
-changed all 4 shocks out with Ranchos adjustables
- loosened the shackles up to let the leafs move around easier
- added 8* of shims to get to -2* of pinion angle
- 4 wheel alignment, corrected thrust
- has main leaf and over load is all I'm going to clamp the over load in front yet
-has assassin bars I have been playing with bar placement.. Really doesn't change much
- front has 2" drop spindles and unknown lowering springs.
It feels much stronger I was able to hit it with the brake at 3500 on the two step I think the rear is fine I think I need to do work on the front to get it to raise and stay up.. The shocks were topped out in the rear.. Before I could only hit the tire at 1900 on the brake and it would spin. Shocks def helped, still the best 60 na so far is a 1.87 which is down from a 1.92 previous track trip.
Here's the vid, next step is 4.10 gears girdle and axles and probly tires I'm open to suggestions..

Shocks definitely look topped out in the rear lifting the whole rear end up causing spin or wheel hop I'm not sure. It actually left the line good but a couple feed out unloaded. Need to get DA shocks, not rancho. According to many, DA shocks are the most important piece of the puzzle.

Yep, truck lifted too fast, needs moar shock!

The assassin bars will lift the truck (which puts more force on the tire, which is good), but the shock has to be strong enough (or have enough range) to not bottom out and jar the truck.

This is after the shock change.. It was as stiff as they go I didn't really mess with the front. It seems like compression needs to be stiffer on the front to keep it planted IMO as I was driving it I had no idea the whole truck was raising its weird seeing something do that. I used to race a Camaro which had all Bmr everything under it and could make that hook no problem almost anywhere.. Leaf springs and assassin bars are totally new to me.. Believe it or not this was a huge improvement already, and I kinda think a different set of springs and shocks are needed to get the front up
