Default Project 50 Shades LSXAP Shoptruck

**Stage 2 turbo setup starts 24 pages in..** just gonna do an on-going progression

I bought this truck in Oklahoma is an 03 Silverado with a decent amount of mods.. Current mods (that I know of, or was told):
408 11.5:1 w/l92 top end milled .030", and l92 intake, 90mm t body, x link, ls7 lifters unknown cam, headers and true dual exhaust, has a Lingenfelter 2 step, has a 4L80e and a 3600 billet hub stall, built driveshaft, a Detroit posi, and it's currently on a 150shot via nx proton kit.. So pretty decent list.

I'm building a completely different powertrain for stage 2 the nitrous solonoid took a dump so I decided to do a side project with the 408 for this year also to get a package for things to do LSA transplant for trucks mine will be a bit extreme but duplicatable.
Items purchased for my LSA Swap:
-Recalled ctsv blower
-ZL1 lid new from Gm
-Lingenfelter solid coupler
-Lingenfelter 2.55'' upper pulley
-10% overdriven 8rib powerbond balancer
-Innovators West 8rib ps, alt, tensioner, idlers
-LS Simple accessory drive
-07+ truck waterpump
-102mm Nick Williams tbody
-Johns Porting Service ported the snout here in Lincoln, Ne
-Squash Performance fuel rails
-squash fuel system
-e85 conversion
-heat exchanger, 2.6gallon icebox, pump

I'll update the list as I go this is beyond the basic kit will be fully optioned out.. Will do before and after dyno to see the gains

It kinda hunts for idle a/f is pretty decent it just jumps all over my gues timing is all over the place when I get new Trans in I'll do a dyno before blower goes on for kicks see where we're at. I was told 456hp from previous owner and we will see what's up on our local heartbreaker.

I know the guy who built that truck, pretty quick truck on the bottle! Glad to see somebody putting more work into it.

Update: parts above been coming in..
I made a call to change cams I was talking to the original owner that did a lot of the work. With the amount of overlap it's just not gonna work the greatest. So was chattin with 350ss (Rob) and I think we decided on a grind I'm gonna have cut that should work well. Gonna do a 226/243@.050116lsa+3 since he's a twin screw blower nutswinger.. Lol

Also having a new custom converter made from ptc 3000stall it's a single disk I'm not gonna lock it on the big end.. Just told em to make it tight lol

Andy @ squash is building me a custom dual in-tank pump set up for e85. With wiring, and boost referenced regulator, I bought a ZL1 stock rail crazy expensive from GM. I have 205lb/hr injectors I'm gonna be running

I'm working on raising it 2" it's just too low.. So ditching the rear shackle flip and going to a mcgauheys bracket and a stock rear shackle for the rear, the I'm gonna take the 3" drop springs out of the front an put 1" drop springs up front. I think I'd like better and more room for a taller tire.

Blower snout is ported, solid coupler installed, 2.55 pulley required machining the snout for clearance. So it's at a machinist getting clearanced.

This is really coming together! The torque this thing is going to make is absurd...

11.5 compression 408 with a 1900 spun faster than I'm spinning mine with a set of good heads and running on e85. I'd bet we see about 12PSI out of it, but its going to be feisty!! It will make great power on 12PSI.

For comparison sake the 2.55 upper on my engine with my 1900 would be in the ball park of 15-16.5 psi. Despite what most think these blowers do generally build boost through gears and with RPM even if it is slight as hell.

To that end with a 408, heads that flow a lot more, and a bigger cam I can see about a 25% reduction in boost. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it will be in the ball park of 10-12PSI. The torque it makes will be brutal while it may struggle a little to hold that power late in the RPM range. Let's hope this converter builder is true to their word! At the RPM you will have this thing spinning you will be above the 1400 CFM mark with a peak drive loss of about 80.
