So then why do caltracs and assassin bars have different mounting locations for the bars? I am not being a smart ***, it is you just say everyone is wrong but you never say why your way is right.

Easy to answer....the front mount for the bars is for amount of hit

If you have doubts read the sticky on yellowbullet

Noe back to the instant center think about that...how can you physically change IC by adjusting the bars? They are not ladder and not 4 link where you have adjustment....only way is to change height of the front leaf eye, now in some cases by lowering the rear leaf eye will also change the projected line since changing either will alter the projected line

This also can be learned in caltrac sticky thread

Also with the term hit...its spoke about with the caltracs turtorial when you pay caltracs site a visit or when the instructions came with the bars

George, if would really help the quality of the site of you stopped postimg and telling others to refer to another forum, but actually helped them here. After all, it IS what we're here for,
No? If you know so much about it you will help your reputation here by explaining it rather than telling them to think about it.

A damper by definition does not care what direction it moves in...it responds to a velocity, not a vectored displacement.

Actually on launch the shocks arent doing the same job....driving they are

On launch you have the rear moving forward...now in stock form you have one shock extending and other compressing

By facing them same way then both are doing same job....so on launch both are now extending

If you have doubt watch videos or grab a go pro yourself and record how much rear moves

What gives more hit, more or less preload? And when is more hit indicated with drag radial?

Lol. Having had the black hole argument, I won't go into arguing mass-spring-damper system dynamics. Carry on, kids.

Typing over 140 pages of examples when its already typed is kinda wasted time....any member can spend thr hours and days reading all the examples and all the given experience over there...

This site will never be as informational as yellowbullet, just how it is

As for my rep, take it or leave it....ive always done my own thing
