Got it all stripped ready for sand blasting next weekend as long as there is still not a foot of snow on the ground still!

Are you not going to use an NVG149 AWD case?

Would you be willing to sell the front grille off the wrecked Tahoe???

Well that was my first thought. Then started thinking about the BW out of the caddy. But then figured out that it wasnt a single speed tcase. Well thats not going to work. I do have the autotrac case out of the tahoe. I dont know what is going to work the best.

Yes.. Shipping would suck

I shipped a Joe Gibbs Tahoe bumper cover using Greyhound before and that's reasonable. The tough part is finding a box to put it in.

I guess it also depends on what you want for it too...

To bad your not closer. I have a silverado EX cab 4x4 chassis that I will be parting out. I think it would be easier to swap the link stuff and shorten the chassis then to use a Tahoe style chassis. I am curious to see how you mount the front of the bed to that chassis.

Mounting the bed will be easy. Shortening the bed will be a first for me. But still should be easy. I would have just bought a 4x4 rcsb that was wrecked instead of the tahoe but they are a tough to find. Especially for a reasonable price. Oh well I have bought enough vehicles for this project!

What about using a short 5'8 bed from a crew cab??? That would blow peoples mind.
