ok guys, sorry no progress yet, iv been outta state, but iv read a book on turbocharging, and read through some build threads. i think im on the right track, just need to read a little more, but for now, some questions..

im going pick up my lq4 from my friends house. iv got no clue to how many miles on it, but it ran great and had good oil pressure. im gonna pull the heads and check the cylinders, and replace the rod bolts with ARP bolts. Im also gonna replace the oil pump, but should i replace it with a stock pump, ported ls2 pump, or milling high pressure pump?

this weekend i should be ordering a manifold from kyracing, and a fuel cell. pics soon guys

Ported LS2 pump is extreamly cost effective and works great. That is what I am running on my 408.

also, iv changed my mind on the AWD idea, for a few reasons...

no burnouts (or warming up DRs)
cant dyno tune
less fun
and id rather not cut the floor shifter out of my truck

so im going to sell my awd tcase and replace the chain in my stock tcase.

so can a mod change the title to 'lq4 transplant and turbo into my OBS Z71"
