Default lq4 transplant, AWD, and more into my OBS Z71

hi guys, iv been creepin around this site awhile, learning alot, and im about to start restoring my 97 with some go fast goodies. Im starting a build thread mainlt to asked questions, and to aviod posting new threads constently.

Heres a basic run down. right now, the truck is down with a snapped tranny pump. Im sending the tranny to a good friend of mine (cant say his name on here) to have fully built. Im sending the converter to YANK to have cut open and inspected, and hopfully converter to bolt to the lq4.
I have a AWD transfer case from a esky(not what i wanted, but it will do till i find a NVG149)
the LQ4 is from a 04 2500, im gonna add a 222/226 112 LSA cam (tuner pointed me to this cam, does it sound like a good chioce?) with beehive springs
im not sure what to do with the 317 heads.
the rear end is a 14 bolt with a g80 and 4.10 gears, id like to find another 10 bolt to build to shead a few pounds. right now she tips the scales at 4640 pounds (front axle is not in the truck)

after its up and running, id like to add 100 shot to the mix. this will be a slow process since im working outta state right now, so bear with me.

few pics, this trucks current stance

and the lq4

so, few questions, hows the cam choice sound?
what should i do to the heads? i was thinking shaving them a little to bump of the CR
what are you guys doing for fuel pumps? id like to upgrade it since i plan to pull the bed off for cleaning the frame.

thats it for now, all opinions welcome

Sweet truck. Looking forward to your AWD conversion.

How did you lower it and what wheels and tire size do you have?

Ive yet to kill the factory 4l60E in my Avalanche, it has 202k and has never been rebuilt. Trust me, I have tried to kill it! Succeeded in killing the rear axle twice though...and one driveshaft.
