Sorry for the VERY late reply here, but I am overseas at the moment.
Mine is doing well she's been hibernating since last July when I left to come here to Afghanistan. She gets started about 3 times a month and driven once a month to keep things circulating. I have some changes coming for mine soon when I get back haha, stay tuned at the link in my sig in red for updates. I like how yours is going so far and really am going to follow better when I am stateside here again in July. GREEN OBS GMC's FTW!!!

It's moving pretty slow right now. It's somewhat on the back burner for now, trying to get some personal issues resolved, I lost my step dad about a month and a half ago so things are pretty rough right now. The plans have changed for this build a few times but I think I finally have a solid plan. Forged 370 with 317 heads and the proflo intake, 88m turbo, built th400 with fmvb and transbreak, built 14 bolt rear end. I'm still debating between 4x4 or finding a nv149 tcase. Iirc the 149 sends more power to rear than the front, is this correct? That would help my front end live with the 14 bolt takingost the abuse.

Sorry to hear about the tough times. I have been through a bunch myself. Keep your head up. As you move forward I will be checking up. I love the direction you have gone with your build. As far as your T case question goes, I really don't have a good answer for you. I know that the AWD works different than the 4WD ones do. As far as the power transfer goes I do not believe it is a 50/50 split front and rear. I think it is less in the front, but like I said I really don't know how much. Take your time and keep us posted as things do progress.

62% rear 38% front under normal operating conditions. The viscous coupling allows power transfer if need be however. Fronts slip more power to back and vice versa if the rear tires slip.
