I know several people running -4, no restrictor, -10 return. So to say thats "too big" is very vague.

However, my -4 is fixing to get restricted.

I read about your issues of a lot of smoke on startup on tech, mine puts a locomotive to shame as it sits now. I am hoping it is just residual oil still in the exhaust that hasnt burned off yet...

Where are you guys finding restrictors? I cant really find appropriate ones.

nitrous jets and drill bits. Just grind the "flare" of your fitting your oil line attaches to at the turbo flat, and drop a jet in, drilled to whatever size u want. I would start around .08ish.

I think my pcv is a slight issue to, but I didnt want to finish it till after I finished the air filter set up. So theres an order to the madness that needs to happen

I dont see that being your problem, as far as needed a restrictor. You may need pcv or drain work

It looks like something like this with the help of a 1/16" bit would be the easiest http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-3277/

the drain is -10 pretty much straight down to the pan. How would I go about adding a filter to the driver side since the hole is much smaller?

You did say you wanted something you could tinker with because the blower was too easy. I wouldn't give up yet because you're so deep in the project. Good luck

Your breather setup definitely needs some attention. My truck has a -10 line running from each valve cover into a breather tank/catch can. I had a buddy weld a -10 bung where the PCV valve goes and for the other side I just modified the cap for a bulkhead fitting.

You should also run a LS6 valley pan or drill and tap your valley cover for some fittings so you can vent there too.

THe only thing is thats a one time shot, kinda kills the start big theory. And I doubt your pcv is causing issues at idle, mine wont, unless I go into boost at some point

maybe you need something bigger like a -12 or maybe a -16..-10 may not be big enough so its pushing oil out cause the air cant get by fast enufff
