Wow sorry to hear. At some point people know there built motor will go just not this soon. As we all know this is part of the game. just sucks that its happened this many times in such a short amount of time. good luck on whatever path you take. keep your head up. it could be way worse in some cases.

Hey Richard,
When you wired your pumps up, were you running both of them all the time or was one activated by a Hobbs switch to come on when boost kicked in?

Also what did you use to seal the holes you drilled in the top of the bucket that you made?

With my 410 I was running then both all the time, but I think that was too much flow for the regulator to handle when just idling. I ordered a hobbs switch to use, but never got the chance to use it. I was going to set it to come on at 1psi, basically as soon as some real load pops up. I used some tight rubber grommets and silicone.

I actually just took my dual pump bucket out today and put my stock one back in. I figured I would post it for sale just for ***** and giggles.

I think I'm gonna run a switch in my cab to run the second fuel pump. I have a hobbs switch running around but I don't wanna mess with it right now. I was about to run two all the time but figured I'd ask you first.

I didnt have a problem running both at the same time, but I wouldnt do it just because its way overkill.

Nah im good, im hoping a stock 80e lives forever behind a cam'd 5.3.

I finished putting it back to stock tonight. Just have a few odds and ends like putting the 1 bar map and maf back on, along with the stock intake tube. The rebuilt 80e works perfectly. Driving around with the stock exhaust is weird after not having driving a stock exhaust truck for about 6 years. I kept having to look at the tach to make sure the engine is on

Last few days:
-remove pb trans
-install rebuilt 80e
-remove dual-pump fuel bucket and reinstall stock bucket with walbro
-finish removing all the turbo stuff
-install stock manifolds, y and muffler
-remove NNBS intake
-switch injectors on the stock 5.3 intake to the ev6 32lb injectors I have; play with orings and spacers.
-fix leak between trans and tcase

Tomorrow I will probably take off my pillar pod thing with my boost and fuel pressure gauges. I may try to find a single one for the wideband, just for the heck of it.
